Romantic and natural flowers for your wedding

Artistic wedding florals, inspired by the beauty of nature for design-led celebrations across the UK

“Now it feels like a wedding”

The moment you pick up your bouquet and know you are ready to walk down the aisle.

Nerves and laughter as the buttonholes are pinned on.

Arches, floral staircases and hanging chandeliers created as if by magic on your wedding morning.

These are the moments Limewood Flowers is built around.

It is always the flowers that deliver your vision.

“We can’t thank Fran enough for making our special day perfect”

An elegant garden style to natural wedding flowers

Our floral design style is refined, creative and naturalistic, drawing inspiration from the countryside around us and the beauty of an English country garden.

We use unusual floral ingredients, sometimes blending fresh with dried flowers, and scour our suppliers for that ‘something’ which perfectly completes your nature-inspired English wedding vision.

The result is artful, romantic and even feminine in style, yet entirely extraordinary in impact.

Your investment

To ensure we deliver extraordinary service to you throughout your wedding planning, as well as extraordinary flowers on your day, we only take on a limited number of weddings a year.

This commitment to our couples is at the heart of our approach to luxury weddings. We understand that in choosing vendors, you are entrusting us to realise your vision. We are available throughout your planning process to discuss options, collaborate with your planner and supplier team to curate details and transform your marquee or venue with extraordinary wedding florals for your celebration.

For this reason, the minimum investment for full wedding florals is £5,000 in 2024.

For smaller weddings during the main growing season (April – September) we also offer simply seasonal personal flowers that can be picked up from the studio the day before your date. Please enquire for availability.

“Fran was a delight to work with from start to finish.

We planned our wedding in only 6 weeks. Fran was not only able to squeeze us in but also created flowers that were beyond what we could have imagined.

She’s attentive, creative and incredibly friendly. After our initial zoom call she quickly provided a quote and confirmed details, she was even able to accommodate a last minute request for additional flowers.

Without doubt we would recommend Fran to anyone looking for a florist and its an extra bonus that she uses locally grown and sustainable flowers as much as possible.”

A calming influence for your wedding flowers

As a natural introvert and reflective thinker, Fran brings a sense of calm to – what can often be – a hectic day and a stressful planning process.

At Limewood Flowers, we see this approach as a fundamental part of our service to you.

We are here to answer questions as you think of them and work collaboratively to adapt and refine your floral design proposal as other details of your wedding inevitably change.

Our goal is to ensure that at all stages in your wedding planning you feel inspired and joyful.

On the day itself, your personal flowers will be delivered at your chosen time and with an understated style that matches our floral design. This is your moment to celebrate with your loved ones.

Fresh, natural and more sustainable wedding floristry

Over the years, our team has developed links with speciality flower growers across the UK. Many of these artisanal growers use organic methods allowing you to enjoy your wedding flowers naturally without chemical pesticide and herbicide residues. In addition, by working with growers in the UK, we significantly reduce the carbon footprint associated with the transportation of flowers grown and flown in from around the world.

All our designs are completed without the use of floral foam, in beautiful vessels designed to last years. All flower packaging is compostable or recyclable. Even our ribbons, made of silk (or bamboo silk), can be composted if you do not wish to keep them as a momento. Although a small amount of single use plastic is used – tape, cable ties, the glue on the back of a sticker – and we are continually working on ways to reduce this further. There is always more to do and we actively seek opportunities to work with likeminded couples and suppliers.

“I cannot emphasise enough what a great decision it was to choose Fran. My friends who had got married before me told me quite how important the ‘right’ florist would be in this process, and they couldn’t have been more right.

She was everything I had hoped for: reassuring, calming, creative and super, super conscientious.
